TANNUM SANDS veteran Nicole Lowe hit 'em for six, headlining several standout individual performances in the Wide Bay Capricorn Branch titles round one, held in perfect conditions at Agnes Water last weekend.

Lowe grabbed six firsts out of six events entered, in the senior females division held in clean metre-plus swells and offshore winds on Agnes' main surf beach last Saturday.

The Tannum Terror took out the surf race, ironwoman, surf board, singles ski, rescue tube and beach flags in a huge day where 105 competitors from Hervey Bay to Yeppoon took to the waves at the centrally-located Agnes Water.

At the other end of the age range of 50-plus years down to 15 years, Bundaberg's Emma Sheppard sent out a warning to Hayley Bateup and the other professionals who competed in the Coolangatta Gold at the weekend, that she was set to become the new kid on the beach - and in the water.

Teenager Sheppard won the four events she contested; 15yrs rescue tube, surf board, surf race and ironwoman. …
