CQUniversity prides itself on the quality of education it brings to the people of Central Queensland and the Gladstone campus is working with local industry to develop courses that are relevant locally. This has resulted in a number of 1,2 and 3 day programs that provide information and knowledge in a condensed and easy to understand format.

These short courses bring together experts in a field to ensure that the information provided is relevant and up-to-date.

With the selection of courses that we have available at a very reasonable cost there is a CQUniversity short course for everyone.

The presenters are local people recognised as experts in their field with support from internationally renowned researchers and presenters.

Letting go of holding on

With the old saying "the only thing constant is change" our personal and work lives are continually changing. The quality of our lives and the quality of our work has a great deal to do with our skills and abilities to channel energy towards embracing change and the opportunities it presents. This course is designed to give special attention to the belief that "personal change precedes organisational change" and if we are ever truly to see "change resilient organisations" we must first see " change resilient people". It will empower individuals to build personal skills in handling changes that occur in their personal and professional lives.

The presenter, Dr Pierre Viljoen has a passion for Organisational Development and has extensive experience in facilitating change workshops and assisting individuals and groups to work through the trials and tribulations of change. Head of the CQUniversity Gladstone Campus, he holds a PhD in Industrial Psychology and is registered organisational psychologist with the Psychologists Board of Queensland and a full member of the Australian Psychological Society.
