THE mourning family of CBD bashing victim David Pacey have vowed not to give up until all people involved with the 50 year old's death are brought to justice.

Mr Pacey's brother Russell Pacey and nephew Robert Pacey were in Bundaberg Supreme Court yesterday afternoon to see Robert George Walker plead guilty to manslaughter.

While they were pleased to see an end to one painful chapter, Russell said all of the suspected culprits must be brought to justice.

"We are glad that someone stepped up and took responsibility for David's death," Mr Pacey's brother Russell said.

"But we are disappointed that those other four people did not get charged for their role in his killing.

"We lost a brother, a son and a great family man that night and these people should be made responsible for their role.

"We would like to thank the Bundaberg CIB for their handling of the case."

In court, Judge Duncan McMeekin criticised the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for not allowing a jury to determine whether any of the men were responsible for Mr Pacey's death. …
