Article excerpt

ADENBROOK Homes have declared their confidence in the long term future of the Sunshine Coast property industry by opening three new display homes at Stockland's Brightwater residential neighbourhood.

The three fully-furnished display homes valued at about $2.5million presents a massive investment from the Queensland-based project home builder but it is one that Adenbrook's Sunshine Coast director Rob Douglas is prepared to make.

"We are really proud of what we have created at Brightwater, each home has its own theme and a number of unique features which sets itself apart from other display homes on the Sunshine Coast. Our goal is to continually raise the benchmark in terms of the quality, style and innovation of the display homes we have on offer," he said.

"We're all about giving people a 'wow' factor when they visit our display homes. We want them to feel like they have experienced something special and innovative and this has resonated with buyers at our previous display homes at Pelican Waters and Lake Kawana."

The new display homes were launched at a gala opening on Thursday night where nearly 250 people attended.

Mr Douglas said the decision to move forward with these new display homes has been based on the strong enquiry rates and sales achieved across the Sunshine Coast over the past year.

"We are happy with our performance in the current economic climate, the Sunshine Coast is still one of Australia's great lifestyle destinations, people want to live here and we simply can't meet that demand because we have an undersupply of land.

"It's an issue that we want to continue to push to the relevant authorities that we need more land to satisfy demand."

Each of the three Adenbrook display homes at Brightwater has been designed for different segments of the market ... from the contemporary 244.1sq m Cebel and the Asian-inspired 323sq m Ashton to the resort-themed 44.5square Ella.

The Ella is a two-level home more suited to a squarer block but still suited to waterfront or golf course frontage. It is part of Adenbrook's Choices range of homes which offer a number of different designs and living options. …
