PROFESSIONAL tattooist Caz Smith had been running her tattooing establishment in Gympie for about eight years before deciding to open for business in Rainbow Beach.

Customers can choose a design from the huge range available, bring in their own or have an idea drawn up for them, safe in the knowledge that you are in the hands of a Health Department approved, bona fide professional. Caz uses a state-of-art "Autoclave" machine which has a digital read out which fully documents the sterilisation procedure and all needles used are brand new then disposed of.

After the completion of her apprenticeship Caz worked for eight years and entered many competitions with her own tattoos and by 1989/90 was one of the most heavily tattooed women in Australia. At the time she featured in a number of magazines with a three page spread in Australian Tattoo and has also been interviewed on television.

She took a break for some years resuming her career about 10 years ago. …
