SHINE Lawyers are looking for the next rising stars of Ipswich by offering a legal course aimed at school leavers.

The course, held during the June/July school holidays, is specifically designed for high school students who have an interest in pursuing a career in law.

On completion of the course outstanding participants may be offered a period of work experience with Shine.

Following work experience, chosen exceptional people may be offered employment with Shine Lawyers.

Ipswich branch manager Rachel Gordon started her career with Shine in a similar manner working her way up from an administration role.

"Working with Shine has presented me with career opportunities I do not feel I could have got in another firm," Ms Gordon said.

"I started in admin then became a paralegal and then completed my articles of clerkship to become a solicitor.

"Being appointed to branch manager proves that if you have passion for a legal career there is more than one path to success. …
