ALAN SHEARER says he has no qualms about Sir Alex Ferguson and Manchester United's approach to next Sunday's final day clash with Hull City.

Man U take on Barcelona in the Champions League final just three days after the game with Hull, but with places up for grabs in the Rome showpiece, Fergie's troops will have to give it everything against the Tigers if they are to be considered for even a spot on the bench.

Shearer told the Chronicle: "What will happen is that he'll rest a few, but whoever he puts in, will do his football club justice, as they always do..

"Listen, they've got a bigger and better squad than anyone else, so I've no doubt that Alex will put a team out which he feels is good enough to go and win at Hull." And reflecting on the 1-0 defeat against Fulham that leaves Newcastle up against it and staring the Championship in the face, Shearer said: "We didn't get the rub of the green - I felt it was a poor decision for the disallowed goal. …
