A BUSINESSMAN who sold an unlicensed Viagra-style sex drug over the internet has been given a bill of more than pounds 5,500 for his crimes.

Graeme Carlton launched an on-line business selling and advertising "Kamagra" pills, similar to Viagra, on a website from his home.

He had hundreds of the sex drug tablets, not licensed as a medicinal product in the UK, and supplied them without a licence or authorisation.

A stockpile of the drug and a pile of receipts and invoices showing evidence of pounds 2,565 of sales were found at his home in Forrester Close, Seaton Carew.

The product is not licensed as a medicinal product in the UK amid concerns about effects including high heart rates, high blood pressure, headaches and dizzy spells.

The 41-year-old's home was raided on November 29, 2005, three months after a "test purchase" from the site.

Investigators found customers paid into Carlton's bank account, with money kept off-shore in a Jersey account. …
