YOU can sense when talking to Australian guitar legend Phil Emmanuel that, even after 50 year of performing, he still gets enormous pleasure from his craft.

Phil started performing on guitar with younger brother Tommy when he was just seven years old.

Close to 50 years on and Phil's still doing it, still loving it, still producing new material and still entertaining audiences.

Tomorrow night at the Grafton District Services he will be back to entertain the Clarence Valley.

And this time he will bring a few like-minded and talented musicians with him.

The best-known of those is Mal Eastick, who performed in Grafton regularly years ago and who Phil compared with the late Stevie Ray Vaughan... only better.

When they reach Grafton it will be only the fourth gig The Phil Emmanuel Band have performed together.

Although only in its infancy, the band have received an overwhelming audience response.

So, what can audiences expect?
