IF you are a survivor and you know the pain of trying to find the courage to fight, please help.

Ed Leeson is 24.

He put up a gallant fight after he was lucky enough to receive a double lung transplant about a year ago.

Ed felt he had a new lease of life with his lung capacity already more than 90% by September last year.

Suddenly, he could climb stairs, walk up the road to get milk and even hang washing on the line without becoming immediately short of breath.

But the Mooloolaba lad's freedom from cystic fibrosis was unfortunately shortlived because he picked up a cold in January resulting in his body's immune system fighting his new lungs.

Ed is still in hospital fighting infections so his body can receive another double lung transplant if one becomes available.

One of Ed's mother's best mates, Kerry Heaney, was there the day he was born and she is determined to find the inspiration he needs to get through his illnesses. …
