IT'S not often the paddocks of Caboolture resonate with the soulful blends of African rhythm and angelic voices.

But this year, the African Watoto Children's Choir will drop in to the annual Farm Fantastic for a special performance.

This year's family-friendly farming and lifestyle extravaganza from July 17 to 19 is the eighth annual event and features more than 700 exhibitors.

While Mum and Dad check out the abundance of city/country services and products on display, the kids will be kept amused by an endless array of entertainment, demonstrations, workshops, animal parades and more.

The highlight of the weekend's entertainment is sure to be an energetic and spirited performance by the Watoto Children's Choir.

The children's choir is part of the Watoto organisation: a mission that aims to rebuild the lives of African children affected by the horrors of war and AIDS.
