IF you haven't found time to get to The Crooked Cactus Mexican Restaurant yet, don't worry - because now you can enjoy their fantastic Mexican food at home or work.

The Cactus is now open for lunch and takeaways are available from the lunch menu.

Owners Jeffrey and Samantha Kuhl said they were receiving so many requests to open for lunch and so many more to do take-aways they could not refuse.

The lunch menu is full of Mexican favourites with a huge variety of flavour choices and combinations.

The Crooked Cactus is open for lunch from Tuesday to Friday from 11.30am to 2pm and in the evenings for dinner Tuesday to Saturday from 5.30pm.The great thing about Mexican is it is so flexible.

If you like shredded beef you can have it in a Burrito, a Chimichanga, a Quesadilla, Tacos or Taquito.

If you like seafood you can choose from Quesadillas, Mini Flautas, Chimichangas or Fajitas.

These are just a few of the many flavour options available, which also include vegetarian choices.

Most of the Mexican meals are served with red rice, corn and capsicum salsa.

As well as all the Mexican specialties there are other options such as steak sandwiches, Tempura fish, crumbed steak, crumbed Chicken Alfredos and lunch rump - all these meals are served with chips and salad.

Everything from the lunch menu is available Take-away and for your convenience you can phone, fax or email your order in by 11.30am for pick up during lunch time hours.

To celebrate the launch of the lunch and take-away menu The Crooked Cactus is offering the chance to win a Crooked Cactus Christmas Party for you and your friends, family or workmates worth $200.

Every Dine-in or Take-away lunch meal gives you an entry and there will be one party drawn each month during August, September and October.

The parties can be booked any time during November, December and January. There is always a festive, party atmosphere at The Crooked Cactus, so it is the perfect place to celebrate the Christmas season and if you don't have to pick up the bill, that's even more reason to celebrate. …
