Article excerpt

ARMSTRONG (Benwell). Jimmy. A smile can hide the sadness, the tears we can wipe away, but grandad those memories of losing you will never go away. From Kim, Thomas and family.

ARMSTRONG (Benwell). Jimmy (Arma), treasured memories of my dad who left us one year ago today. In tears I saw you sinking and held you till you slipped away, my heart, it almost broke Arma because I wanted you to stay, but when I saw you sleeping, so peaceful and free from pain, how could I wish you back again to suffer even more pain. He was a very special dad, now resting in your care and if you look around your garden you'll likely find him sitting there, put your arms around him, don't leave him on his own, because I love and miss him and he's so far away from home. Loving daughter Carol, John and grandchildren.

Remembered always, your loving daughter Pat, Billy, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
