To design and create a car that can think like a human?

But, what I did experience in the limited time I had with the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Avantgarde, was enough to start to grasp the workings and stylings of the classy European badge.

Available in a four-door saloon (pictured) or in a two-door coupe, the E-Class excels in all areas from looks to safety.

The E Class has been synonymous with comfort and safety for decades.

It never ceases to reinvent itself.

The latest version features over 70 sensors whose sole purpose is to ensure your wellbeing.

This is truly one of the world's most thoughtful cars.

From the minute I was seated I knew I was in safe hands.

I marvelled at the intelligence of the Merc as it secured my seatbelt correctly ready for the journey ahead.

And the Mercedes-Benz' thoughtfulness did not stop there.

As she carried me gently through town I was amazed at how smooth and comfortable I was. Take note living room recliner!

Even the bumpiest of roads are tamed by Her Excellency, cushioning the rough roads of Rockhampton with ease.

The standard equipment includes Attention Assist, which analyses the driver's behaviour and advises of the need to take a break if there are signs of drowsiness.

It also comprises numerous airbags and a knee bag for the driver as well as the Active Bonnet for improved pedestrian protection.

You also have the choice of equipping your new E Class with optional assistance systems which are able to make an active contribution to avoid hazardous situations. …
