A YOUNG woman testified yesterday that she was offered $20,000 to go on an all-expenses-paid four-week holiday to Colombia to pick up a "package".

Courtney Jean Gielis, 20, was giving evidence at a committal hearing for a Sunshine Coast trio accused of smuggling $70,000 worth of cocaine from South America.

Andres Marcelo Munoz, 23, his girlfriend, Jade Cory Salman, 19, and his father, Marlon Moreno, 48, were committed yesterday to stand trial for trafficking and importing drugs.

Ms Gielis said she declined the Colombia trip. "Conversations about cocaine were so regular, I knew it regarded cocaine," she said.

Ms Gielis, who befriended Ms Salman at work, said the Pacific Paradise couple had a lavish lifestyle, even after they became unemployed.

Ms Gielis said Ms Salman bought a brand new Toyota Yaris and upgraded to a BMW a few months later.

She said they had shouted her a lap dance, had two poodles and had photos of themselves with limousines and at the Versace hotel. …
