She Saw Plain; but They Saw a Top Model

GROWING up, Claudia Payne was always told she had the look of a top model.

But she never believed it.

In fact, she never had much confidence about herself at all.

But last week the exquisite beauty was proven wrong when a Sunshine Coast-based top model scout picked the Blackwater teen out of a crowd.

Emu Park's Mariya Ortodossi also shone through the many faces.

Serena's Image owner Serena Keenan said Claudia had a unique look that belonged on the catwalks of Europe.

"She is a lovely fresh-faced tall girl with a style of her own," she said.

Ms Keenan, who travelled to Rockhampton looking for new faces and to run the fashion parades at the launch of Stockland Rockhampton, also said Mariya, had an "individual look with a fabulous physique".

"Although she is not as tall as Claudia, she carried herself well and has great bone structure, lovely skin and smile."

Claudia, 17, never had any ambitions of being a model until now. …
