SOCIAL MEDIA SUPPORT:

SOCIAL Media is the fastest and the cheapest way to let others know about who you are, what you do and what you have to offer.

But it can be daunting, so local business What Women Want is running two-hour workshops about Facebook, YouTube and Twitter: how to make the most of them to increase sales and promote your business.

The workshops will be run on a "pay what you can" concept, with all profits going to charity.

The first one is on tomorrow, September 9, at the Coolum Christian Family Community Centre on the corner of Coolum Yandina Road and Arcoona Road.

For more information, contact Fabe Keily on 0411 108 309.

MANAGING FOR PROFIT:

THIS program is for those ready to start a business or already in an established business, with a basic knowledge of financial statements.

This is not a workshop about how to prepare cashbooks or undertake basic bookkeeping.

It has been designed specifically to provide a hands-on opportunity to improve your business.

Attendees will complete a series of practical exercises developed to provide them with the knowledge of relevant financial terms and be able to analyse the financial performance of a small business.

It is being held at the Sunshine Coast Centre, Level 2, 12 Innovation Parkway, Kawana tomorrow, September 9, from 6pm - 9pm. The cost is $44. Phone 5437 1300 or email sunshine.coast @dtrdi.qld.gov.au to book.
