Appeal lost

AFL: Carlton captain Chris Judd has lost his appeal against his three-game AFL suspension for misconduct.

The star midfielder will miss the first three games of the 2010 home and away season.

Judd was found guilty on Tuesday night of making unnecessary and unreasonable contact to the face of the Brisbane Lions' Michael Rischitelli last Saturday night at the Gabba.
