Let the Finals Begin: BITS Take on Clinton; Long-Standing Rivals Clash for a Cap League Curtain-Raiser

BITS captain Charlie Keenan warns to expect the unexpected when his first division side takes on Clinton in the grand final at Marley Brown Oval today.

"It's a final and anything can happen," he said.

Keenan said they had done all the preparation they could.

Now we are just waiting and watching over a few niggling injuries, he said.

"Not much more we can do now," he said.

BITS beat Clinton in the preliminary final with a narrow 2-1 victory.

"We know we can win- it will come down to who wants it most on the day," he said.

Keenan said that his team has to stay focused during the game and not be daunted by the venue.

"We're going to have a fair few people there, hopefully it will be a very good night for us," he said.

He said the crowd will be in for a treat too, with the two sides holding a long standing rivalry.

"It is always a good natured battle, but there is definitely a BITS/Clinton rivalry," he said. …
