ASPINALL (Stocksfield). Peacefully in Hexham General Hospital, on 21st September 2009, aged 81 years, Frank, dearly loved husband of Doreen, much loved dad of Paul and daughter in law Gillian and devoted grandad of Stacey and Claire. He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. Would friends please meet for service and cremation at Mountsett Crematorium, Dipton on Wednesday 30th September at 11.00am.

BATEY (Haltwhistle). Formerly of Brown Rigg, Bardon Mill. Suddenly on 18th September, aged 63 years, Douglas, beloved son of the late Bill and Beattie and dear brother of the late Billy. Service in All Hallows Church, Henshaw on Wednesday 30th September at 1.00pm, followed by cremation at Carlisle Crematorium at 2.40pm. Friends please meet at the church.

BOWERBANK (Haltwhistle). Peacefully in Haltwhislte Hospital, on Wednesday September 23rd 2009, aged 83 years, John, a dearly beloved husband of June, much loved dad to Karina, Janine and sons in law Tony and David, loving grandad to Lisa, Gavin, Glenn, Richard, Kieren and great grandad to Joshua, dearly loved cousin to Susannah, nephews Eric, Martyn, Christopher and families, sister in law Dorothy and a dear brother in law who will be sadly missed by all other family and friends. Funeral Service to take place at 11.00am on Tuesday 29th September at Haltwhistle Methodist Chapel followed by cremation at Carlisle Crematorium. Peacefully after a long illness, on 22nd September 2009, aged 82 years, Vera (nee McDougall), dearly loved wife of Alec, much loved mother of Gordon, Eileen, Barbara, David and Peter, a dear grandma and great grandma to all the family.
