Brad's Back to Chase His Olympic Dream

AFTER enduring collapsed kidneys and an inflamed heart you could forgive Brad Hore for never wanting to enter the boxing ring again.

But a little over a year after the Caloundra boxer had the health scare of his life, he's preparing for next year's Commonwealth Games.

Hore received a phone call from Shamrock trainer Mike Foley wanting him to step back into the ring.

A few days later, he was strapping on the gloves.

"Mike gave me a call a couple of weeks ago wanting me to make a comeback," Hore said yesterday.

"He wanted me to come back and have another shot at the Commonwealth Games in India next year.

"He reckons we've got some unfinished business."

That unfinished business Foley is talking about refers to Hore's attempt at Olympic Games glory.

His ailing health became apparent during trials for the Beijing games, forcing him to give up the sport.

But Hore insists he's fully recovered and ready to give professional boxing another shot. …
