SCENES FROM TALLADEGA

Jimmie Johnson's journey to Cup No. 4 goes through Talladega this week, but why should he be the focus? Here are a few snapshots from the track, with three possible cutlines. Pick whichever one you like best, but the correct caption is always the third one:

MARK MARTIN ...

A. Just sat on a crankshaft.

B. Is passing a kidney stone the size of a Hot Wheel.

C. Shares a laugh with his crew in the pit area.

KYLE BUSCH ...

A. Wants to be woken up once the Chase is over (for everybody else).

B. Is dreaming of when he drove for Rick Hendrick.

C. Catches some rest before practice starts.

RYAN NEWMAN is telling TONY STEWART ...

A. Where he could buy a razor.

B. How they can wreck Johnson's car this week.

C. Apparently a story that is kind of boring.
