GIRL loves vampire, vampire loves girl, werewolf also loves girl, girl kind of loves werewolf, werewolf and vampire are mortal enemies.

And the world goes wild.

The Twilight saga has captured the world like nothing before. You just need to say the words Edward, Bella and Jacob and people know exactly what you are talking about.

The three stars, who, until this year, were relative no-names, are now the hottest property in Hollywood.

To say Twilight is a star-maker would be an understatement.

But it hasn't just been a career injection for the three main characters.

Everyone who touches the Twilight films can expect a level of notoriety that many desire but few achieve.

The same can be said of the characters who will be introduced in the next instalment of the Twilight saga: New Moon.

The major new addition to the New Moon cast will be the Volturi, and three of the actors portraying the characters - Charlie Bewley, Christopher Heyerdahl and Cameron Bright - realise these roles will be life-changing.

"I was actually talking to my parents on Skype so they heard the whole conversation," Bewley said.

"I was on the phone telling them how well my audition went with Chris White at my call-back and my agent called me at the same time and said, 'Charlie, you have either got Demetri or Marcus'. Cue insanity, I suppose.

"I knew straight off the bat that it was the hugest thing to happen to me in my life."

For Bright, who has starred in films including Birth with Nicole Kidman and in X-Men: The Last Stand, Twilight is really hitting the big time, despite having a wealth of work under his belt.

"I have been acting for 10 years, I have been in movies and everything, but I have never gotten to this level. Finally, I am there," he said.

"It's just one of those things where I am going to grab it while I can."

For Heyerdahl, the popularity of the books and the films means that he is confident this film is going to be just as successful as the first one, and even the guys are getting involved.

"So many times you ask guys if they have read the Twilight series and they say, 'I guess I did because my girlfriend likes it' and they always come around to, 'Yes, I did read the whole book and then the next book and then the next book'. …
