From toe wrestling in England and the Norwegian Reindeer Racing Championships to the New York Yankees Major League Baseball Game, the book outlines the best and somewhat peculiar sporting experiences around the world and how to get involved.

The guide consists of four sporting events a week for a year, with plenty of information on history, traditions and the athletes that compete.
