CHELTENHAM 1.55 LACDOUDAL ran some good races in defeat last season, having opened the campaign with a victory here after an eight-month lay-off. If in the form that saw him finish third in the Bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown in April, Philip Hobbs's 10-year-old holds a leading chance. Don't Push It ran well on his seasonal debut when fourth to Monet's Garden at Aintree and, if he gets round, he's sure to play a leading role. However, enthusiasm is tempered by his chase figures at the track that read 21FFP.

3.10 POWERSTATION was a well backed, if a distant, third to Big Buck's in the Grade 1 World Hurdle here at the Festival. Eamon O'Connell's nine-year-old has had two moderate runs over fences this term but he is a much better horse when tackling the smaller obstacles. Former Triumph Hurdle winner Made In Japan runs from out of the handicap but could be interesting at decent odds for his in-form stable.

3.45 PSI hopefully won't leave punters sighing. …
