PROPERTY developer John O'Keefe and his wife Lynn have put their contemporary mansion at Alexandra Headland on the Sunshine Coast on the market as the couple seek to C[pounds sterling]downsizeC[yen].

Designed by local architect Brad Read, the coastal retreat features five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a commercial-sized office, an additional study area and sweeping views of the coastline.

Mr O'Keefe, 59, who has recently worked on small residential projects in Brisbane, said he and his wife are downsizing after the last of their two children moved out two years ago.

The design of the home, a one-off in Alexandra Headland, is inspired by the elements of nature and is in sync with the coastline.
