COURT TOLD OF THREATS TO WOMAN; Man Pleads Guilty over Harassment

A MAN has admitted harassing a woman by threatening to stab, "slice" and cut the throats of anyone she saw.

Kevin Tudhope, 31, pleaded guilty to harassing Lynsey Angliss in August and September last year.

He approached her in the street and threatened to slit the throat of anyone she was seeing on August 29, Teesside Crown Court was told.

Then he followed her, called her names in the street and threatened to "slice" anyone she was seeing on September 13, the court heard yesterday.

And on September 15 he called her and threatened to stab her and anyone she was seeing.

Tudhope, of Eversley Walk, Park End, Middlesbrough, also admitted two charges of breaching a "non-molestation order" which was made at Middlesbrough County Court last February.

He flouted the order's conditions by trying to communicate with her on July 10 last year, then entering a Middlesbrough garden the next day.

Speaking with a thick Scots accent from the dock, Tudhope answered to one of the charges: "Guilty but there was a reasonable excuse. …
