Stolen gear found

A TOORMINA youth, 17, will be cautioned over the discovery of gear which was allegedly stolen.

Police found a multi-media LCD projector in a Toormina home yesterday morning and they allege the equipment was stolen from Toormina Public School last July.

Shoplifters caught

A SYDNEY woman, 40, was fined for allegedly stealing goods from Ritchie's Supermarket at Boambee Central Shopping Centre.

Police said the woman walked into the store at 6pm on Tuesday with her two young children, one of whom was in a pram.

Police allege she selected nuts and Duracell batteries and put them in the back of the pram.

She selected and paid for other items and left the store without paying for the nuts and batteries, police allege.

She was apprehended by a loss prevention officer and police later issued her with a criminal infringement notice.
