Players Must Overcome Time Warp to Deal with Phoenix

I FEEL like I've been thrown in a time machine and bounced around.

Last week we had to put the watches forward for Australian Daylight Saving for our trip to Gosford to take on the Central Coast and then put them back when we came home.

Three days later we were on a plane heading for New Zealand.

We're in Wellington for tonight's game against the Phoenix and the three-hour time difference is making it all a bit strange.

One I feel most for is young Jimmy Downey, who has joined us from Perth. The poor boy has had longer flights than we have and his body clock is five hours out of whack.

Wellington's weather is so different from what we've been getting in Townsville. It's cooler and there's no humidity. The forecast is for 12-16 degrees and showers tonight, so I don't think we'll have to worry about the boys overheating.

We've got a few faces that we haven't had with us for a while.

Ufuk Talay has come back after a long stint on the sidelines with injury and Rostyn Griffiths has been out of the squad with niggling injuries for a while too. …
