BARTRAM TRAIL: The Bears seem to be on everyone's radar this season after the back-to-back Class 5A state champions were shuffled into 4A by the FHSAA's reclassification. Despite losing several key starters to graduation, Bartram Trail returns plenty of talent, including P Kalyn Loverich (0.44 ERA), SS Christie Bailey (.306 BA), 2B Libby Crowe (.377 BA) and 3B Abby Tewey, who transitions from a designated hitter role.

Offense should be a strength this season, as Fletcher returns most of its big bats, led by 2B Brooke Peaver (.413 BA, 44 RBI) and SS Kelly Wilson (.370 BA, 13 doubles). But the Senators will have the biggest gap of any team to fill as they look to replace All-First Coast player of the year Erin Schuppert on the mound.

PROVIDENCE: If the Stallions hope to break through to a state title after two trips to the final four, this will be the year to do it. …
