IF you are anything like me, you have probably sat watching The Biggest Loser wishing you could achieve the same results.

The inspirational transformations the contestants go through in mind and body are the stuff of incredible television.

If only there was a Camp Biggest Loser in your lounge room.

If only one of the trainers could visit you to motivate you into exercising and eating right, and you could watch the weight fall away.

Well, it might be impossible for Biggest Loser trainer Michelle Bridges to actually make her way into your home, but she is doing everything in her power to give you the next best thing.

Her first book, Crunch Time, was an enormous success, giving people at home the chance to enjoy Michelle's philosophies without having to pick up sticks and move to Camp Biggest Loser.

Now, with her second book about to hit the shelves, it's not just about the exercise but the things you are putting inside your body that might be stopping you from achieving your goals.

And the best part is, if you have ever fancied having a figure like Michelle's, the recipes inside Crunch Time Cookbook are from her own kitchen.

"Ninety-five per cent of the recipes are mine and my husband's, and we got with a recipe designer and tweaked them a little bit," Bridges said.

"But honestly, about 95% of them are what we have been cooking at home."

The meals are not only delicious, they are also healthy and incredibly nutritious Co the key to weight loss, according to Michelle.

"The thing is, if you are looking to have better nutrition, have better health, lose weight or have weight management, you have to get handy in the kitchen," she said.

"It's not that hard; just start with small things like making a salad and build up from there."

Since the second series of The Biggest Loser, when Michelle and fellow trainer Shannan Ponton took over from the US trainers, Michelle has become a much-loved face on Australian television as each year she helps some of Australia's largest citizens overcome a life-time battle with their weight.
