AN IPSWICH man and his sister who attacked four people in a caravan last year will not spend any time behind bars.

Gary Russell Sullivan, 21, and Michaell Maree Sullivan, 18, went to a former friend's Flinders View caravan on April 29 last year and confronted him about speaking to the police.

Ipswich District Court heard Mr Sullivan accused Timothy Nicholas Pratt, then aged 20, of "dobbing" him in to police.

Mr Pratt denied this, then Mr Sullivan punched him in the head.

Crown Prosecutor John Copley said Sarah Louise Pyke - Pratt's girlfriend - intervened, but Mr Sullivan pushed her to the floor.

Ms Sullivan then began punching a 15-year-old girl who was in the van and the child curled herself up into a ball on the floor to protect herself.

Jenna Ann Howlett, who is Mr Sullivan's ex-girlfriend, then ran outside to get his car's registration.

Mr Sullivan then left the caravan and pushed Ms Howlett, then aged 17 - but she retaliated and punched him in the nose. …
