CRAMLINGTON Blue Star defeated Seaton Burn 4-1 to reach the semi-finals of the NACYP Under-15 Cup.

Dale Spencer (2) Kieran Crawford and Robert Dixon sealed the win, all Seaton Burn had to show for thir efforts being a Shawn Lithgow strike.

In League One, the battle of the bottom two saw Hal Thompson score for Prudhoe Reds and Montagu BC reply through Darryl Curley. Newbiggin Hall inflicted a rare Division Two defeat on Ponteland United Blacks, goals from Kieron Gibson and Carl Chapman countering a strike from Daniel M'Pungo.

Newcastle EE came away from FC Amble with a 4-1 victory thanks to a double from Michael Baxter.

Alnwick Town defeated Red House Farm 2-0 in Division Three courtesy of Michael Brown and Jamie Weightman.

In Division Four, Wideopen Juniors gained a useful three points when Jared Dowd and David Aspinall gave them a victory against Prudhoe Yellows, who replied through James Lathan.

Blyth Rangers started off like a house on fire against West Denton and raced into a 3-0 half-time lead.

West Denton made a much better fist of it in the second period with finishes from Kype Main, Jamie Smith and a rare strike from Leighton Hopper.

However, two Jordan Wilson efforts, coupled with goals from Sam Watts and Vincent Palmer gave Rangers the three points.

In Division Five, Tynemouth United defeated Longhoughton.

United had Hornby on target twice, Longhoughton also seeing Allison notch a double.

However, the difference in the match was Ampleford, who destroyed the Longhoughton defence with a tremendous sixgoal blast.

Morpeth SC Gunners gained an important three points when they defeated Wallsend Community through Luke Rolt and Cole Anderson.

IN the Under-16 Pin Point League Challenge Shield, WBBC Sambas took on WBBC Wanderers. Counters from Dominic Thompson and Liam Hall gave Samba the edge. …
