Angels Rescue Groups Facing Devil of a Job with Funding Application Maze

THE Burnett Inland Economic Development Organisation has expanded its Business Angel service in the North Burnett with two angels now available.

The angels are there to provide North Burnett businesses with one-on-one support and assist people to get a clear picture of where their business is going.

They will also beA working closely with each of the North Burnett's Business Advisory Groups (BAGs) to help with implementation of ideas and projects within each community.

BIEDO CEO Linda Silburn said the angel service grew out of a need from inland Burnett communities for improved business and economic development support services.

"Our angels, Ainsley Shepherd and Judy Harvey, offer one-on-one business support and mentoring to North Burnett businesses," she said.

"They work with people thinking about starting a business and they also work with established businesses, or business people who want to sell or retire. They also offer business health checks to assist people get a clear picture of where their business is currently, where they want to be, and how to get there. …
