ANOTHER day, another defeat for Durham City. But that is in the past - Ian Walker is looking to the future.

The chairman of the Esh Group Stadium outfit has seen sponsors and players jump ship, manager Lee Collings suspended and students battered from pillar to post.

Yet last month City won, twice. And though they lost on Friday (6-1 at Retford United) and might even at home to Burscough today, Walker has seen and done enough to know the club will prevail.

It''s been David versus Goliath but for these kids it''s what dreams are made of, Walker said. We are staying in the UniBond, or whatever it''s going to be called. We will have a team, we have got a few irons in the fire in terms of new signings due to come in.

We''ve got some potential sponsors coming through. We will endeavour to give everybody a run for their money and we will have new signings.
