NAMBOUR'S Stephen English has a holiday memory he would rather forget Co and many he may be forced to forget if he does not recover his recently stolen camera.

Mr English and his wife Dee were left with a bad taste in their mouths after they were robbed of a mobile phone and silver Nikon camera on a recent holiday in Hervey Bay, shortly before their return home.

They were unpacking their car at a motel on the Esplanade at Torquay and left the car unattended briefly while preparing a meal and having a drink.

The car was just a few metres away and they were only gone for five to 10 minutes but that was all it took.

Mr English acknowledged that he had left his car unattended but said he never imagined it would not be safe to do so on private property when he and his wife were so close by. …
