The major stumbling block to Australia's hopes to have a national schools curriculum or a national health system is the possibility that some states will look pretty ordinary when all are judged on the same criteria.

However we shouldn't let South Australia flounder any longer and it's time the other states got over their arrogance. But is South Australia worried about their situation? Bloody oath.

Not only do they send their kids to primary school a year longer than everywhere else (they aren't as smart) they then have the audacity to blame Queensland and NSW for their lack of water.

SA doesn't have any water because it is a million degrees over summer and it never rains. Oh, and Queensland and NSW pinch their water, while Victoria pinches their electricity so they can't desalinate.

This would be of little consequence, however, because hardly anyone lives in SA, except they have something we all desperately want and if we don't look after them, we're all in trouble. …
