Davies: Fans Can Roar Us to Euro Glory; Star's Rallying Call as Fulham Take on Hamburg for a Place in the Final

SIMON DAVIES has called on the Fulham faithful to be their team's 12th man in tonight's Europa League semi-final against Hamburg.

Davies is determined to press home Fulham's advantage at Craven Cottage, where they have not lost in eight European games this season, and the winger wants a packed house to cheer Roy Hodgson's men all the way to victory over their German rivals.

With Fulham drawing the away leg 0-0, tonight's clash has assumed the mantle of being the most important in the club's 131-year history.

A place in the Europa League Final back in Hamburg on Wednesday 12 May against either Liverpool or Atletico Madrid is at stake and Wales international Davies said: "I wonder if the fans realise how important they are.

"When they really get going at the Cottage they are as good as anything else in the League, especially the Hammersmith End. They're brilliant. "They almost suck us in towards them, and if they can start the game like that then they'll be a massive, massive advantage for us. …
