Labour Man's Attack on PM Is Branded 'Bizarre'

LABOUR candidate Manish Sood's "bizarre" behaviour had been causing concern before he branded Gordon Brown the worst Prime Minister ever, party sources said today.

But Labour could not have been prepared for the bombshell he dropped today so close to polling day.

"I believe Gordon Brown has been the worst Prime Minister we have had in this country. It is a disgrace and he owes an apology to the people and the Queen," said Mr Sood, who is standing in North West Norfolk.

He said he wanted to become a "one man battle" in cleaning up Labour and Parliament.

Mr Sood called for a return to the "true socialism" of the Sixties and Seventies, which he argued would trigger a chain reaction where people would increasingly feel part of society.

"The average person has really got no respect for the Government and really we are moving towards not a government system but more towards anarchy," he added. …
