CREDITORS of Designer Homes Wide Bay are unlikely to see a cent of their money, according to liquidator Ross Duus.

"It doesn't look like we will be able to get any dividends for creditors," he said.

"The short answer is that there are no assets."

The company owes Bundaberg tradies and suppliers hundreds of thousands of dollars a[pounds sterling] in some cases, individual workers have been left out of pocket by up to $48,000.

Although it has been two months since the building company went into liquidation, Mr Duus said he could not provide a final total of the amount left owing.

"I am still waiting for people to send in proof of debt claims," he said.

"Some people who are owed money haven't responded to enquiries."

Mr Duus said he was focusing on employees' claims, as some were owed a significant amount of money.

"Various people had been employed, including the directors and their family members, and a few outsiders who were relying on the work," he said. …
