BEEP, beep! Make way for NODDY.

The much loved children's character will be pulling into Middlesbrough Theatre next month as part of a new 60th anniversary live tour.

On June 26 head to Toy Town where everyone is invited to join in the fun at Noddy and Tessie Bear's singalong, dancealong party. Everyone that is except naughty goblins Sly and Gobbo who are out to spoil the fun.

The show features other characters such as Mr Plod, Whiz the Robot, Bumpy Dog, Car and, of course, Big Ears with performances at 1pm and 3.30pm.

Noddy is the most famous creation of children's author Enid Blyton. The first book, Little Noddy Goes To Toyland, published in 1949 was an immediate success and 23 more books followed.

The books have since sold 200 million copies in 40 languages.

The TV show based on the character was the longest running show in British television since 1955. To celebrate his 60th birthday, Noddy is celebrating with a new TV series on Channel 5. …
