SUN Marineland, the old-school dolphin conservation and education center south of St. Augustine, has a Family Fun Day, with free admission for ages 12 and under from noon to 4 p.m. At noon, kids can learn about fishing from professional angler Don Dingman. There will also be crafts, games and, of course, dolphins. Admission is $2 for adults.

FRI Nobody likes to think about hurricane season, but, hey, this is Florida. The first 3,000 fans through the gate for the Jacksonville Suns-Carolina Mudcats game at the Baseball Grounds will get a free hurricane lantern. There will also be giveaways for bigger hurricane prizes, plus an appearance by BirdZerk. And, after the game, there will be a fireworks show. $6.50-$21.50.
