My work: I clean and care for hundreds of snakes, lizards, tarantulas and exotic mammals like prairie dogs and skunks. I spend all day trying to educate the public on the joys of a non-traditional pet.

My passion: Animals - fascinating, unusual animals.

I love: Being the center of attention.

My best bargain find: A beautiful Coach purse and wallet at a garage sale for $1.

My hometown: I grew up in Candler, a little town outside of Asheville, N.C.

I'm thinking about: Opening my shop at my new location and making it bigger and better than ever.

I can't live without: My cell phone.

I am most proud of: My two daughters. They are intelligent, sensitive, funny, beautiful. Just amazing to be around.

I'm inspired by: This country! Where else can a little girl make a living selling snakes?

One thing I never want to do again: Sign contracts without reading them. Man, are they hard to get out of!

If I could be totally wild, I would: Go to Vegas for a week with just my girlfriends.

I am guilty of: Sometimes not practicing what I preach.

My theme song: "Gypsy" by Shakira.

The food I could eat every day: Pizza.

The food I never want to eat again: Tripe.

If I were a superheroine (or fictional heroine), I would be: The Bionic Woman - able to do everything and be sensitive and beautiful while doing it.

The most important thing I ever lost: My cousin Tania.

The best thing I ever won: "Most Beautiful" in the kindergarten Halloween costume contest.

I still can't get the hang of: Technology! Just give me a phone that I can talk on.

I wish I'd known: How much easier life is when you are just yourself instead of always trying to be what you think someone else wants. …
