NO fewer than six Skilltrainingltd Northern League clubs have made managerial changes during the close season.

Adam Furness has switched from Brandon United to Esh Winning, replacing Geoff Young. Ian Skinner will be Furness' assistant.

Brandon United have moved swiftly in appointing reserve team coach Steve Cook and hope to make an announcement regarding his deputy in the near future.

It's also all change at Tow Law Town following the resignation of David Hagan and his No 2 Eric Tate.

Ian Davison, a regular in the side last season, will now combine playing with being manager, and former player Gary Innes will be his assistant.

At Seaham Red Star, Andy Toman stepped aside because he was finding the travelling from his Northallerton home too demanding. Kevin Turns was recently named as secretary and he joins Anthony Laidler as the new management team.

Chris Rooney departed from Billingham Synthonia, and Michael Watson, Lee Tucker and Mark Scott take over in another joint managerial partnership. …
