HARTLEPOOL JUNIOR CUE SPORTS LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION JOSH Dinsdale sealed his place in the premier league next season after winning the relegation clash with Craig Chalk. Premier After leading 2-0, Josh was pegged back, with Craig including a 31 break, before Josh won the last 50-29 to take the match.

At billiards, Michael Williams was impressive with breaks of 58, 42 and 34 to beat Chalk 200-34, while the game between Liam Clark and Ben Wanley was probably the best of the season.

Wanley made runs of 54 and 39, while Clark had 33 and 37 unfinished to win 200-178. Keith Kinnersley had a 37 break against Ryan Clark, but a knock of 84 from Clark helped him win 200-157. Josh Dinsdale defeated Darion Cockrill 200-109.

DIVISION ONE Anthony Cornelius has clinched a place in the Premier League next season, thanks to a 3-0 snooker win against Shaun Monsen.

Jack Dixon's chance of making the top flight were ended after a 2-1 loss to Daniel Temperley, who has leapfrogged him into third place.

The billiards results saw league champion Jonathan Evans maintain his unbeaten run with a 100-96 win over Dixon, and Cornelius defeated Temperley 100-44.

DIVISION TWO The final match of the season ended up being the title decider, and it was Alex Taylor who recorded a 3-0 win over Michael Campbell to take the honours.

SNOOKER CUP The cup competitions have been played down to the two finalists, and defending champion Ryan Clark won't be making the treble this season.

In the preliminary round, Paul Humble received a walkover against Michael Campell, while Premier League pair Michael Williams and Keith Kinnersley clashed, with runs of 60, 32 and 30 helping Michael to a 3-1 win.

In the last 16, Humble received a second walkover against Sean Hanna, while Daniel Temperley had a bye after opponent Craig Chalk didn't attend.

Josh Dinsdale defeated Darion Cockrill 3-0, while a break of 40 helped Liam Clark to the same scoreline against Jay Buxton. …
