TIM MARLOW MEETS... 8.30PM, SKY ARTS 1 Art critics on terrestrial telly come in one standard version: fleshy, opinionated and rebarbative. Tim Marlow is nice, selfeffacing and the very reverse of dim as he escorts Terry Jones around the National Gallery, courteously anatomising the former Python's choice of picture. Both men are obsessed with detail. Is the fleeing hare in Turner's Rain, Steam and Speed going to be squashed by the train or not? It's scarcely visible, yet somehow, it matters.

DIVE 9PM, BBC2 It isn't until a production like Dive comes along that you realise how dim most of the stuff that passes for television drama really is. In summary the story has nothing to distinguish it from countless other rites-of-passage stories. Lindsay (played by Aisling Loftus) is a quiet teenager with a remarkable talent for diving.
