Tragedy of a Devoted Dad; Inquest Verdict Revealed

A DEVOTED dad who had "a troubled mind" ended up taking his own life, an inquest heard.

Family and friends knew Michael Hare as a fun-loving man who lived life to the full. But the 38-year-old father-of-one had also been receiving medical help for mental health problems.

His loved ones and health professionals did what they could to support him over the bad times. But tragically Michael took his own life, leaving his family and friends heartbroken. The loving dad was found hanged from a tree beside a pond which he used to love visiting.

The tragic discovery was made by a man who had gone fishing at the spot not far from West End Bowling club in Hartburn, Stockton.

Michael, who lived in Fairfield, Stockton, had left a note in his car parked nearby. The note read: "Leave everything to my beloved Jack."

An inquest heard how the day before his death he had visited his GP about his depression and anxiety and had been prescribed anti-depressants. …
