SMALLTOWN boy moves to the city to make it big and lands a dream role in Las Vegas Co it sounds like the stuff of Hollywood but for Chris Jhureea it couldn't be more real.

The former Woolgoolga High School student is still pinching himself after landing a key acrobatic/dance role in the latest Cirque de Soleil show in Vegas.

"I can't believe it, I always dreamed of doing something like this but it never seemed possible," Chris said.

Chris left Woolgoolga in 2006, spent a year studying in Brisbane before moving to Sydney chasing his dream.

"I've been in Sydney now for two-and-a-half years and I've been teaching all over the place and doing some commercial work," Chris said.

Chris is still finding it hard to believe he's landing a role with one of the industry's most respected companies.

"It was really lucky, actually. I opened an online dance newsletter I signed up for Co usually I just delete them Co and I saw they were auditioning for Cirque de Soleil. …
