New Library and Hall Impress Students

STUDENTS at Rosewood State School are giving their new multi-purpose hall and library the thumbs up.
The happy children were all smiles on Wednesday morning when the new multi-million dollar facilities were officially recognised and showcased to the community.
Rosewood State School principal Sandy Christensen said the facilities were a huge boost to the school and the community.
"It's a wonderful resource. Teaching and learning will be enhanced by increasing the availability of technology and resources to teachers for the delivery of curriculum," Ms Christensen said.
"Students are certainly more interested and engaged when up-to-date technology is used in teaching."
Ms Christensen said the benefit of the new facility was the hall would provide an all-weather venue for a range of sports as well as community events, displays and school assemblies.
"It also allows teachers an alternate space to do group activities," she said. …
