FASHION can always transfer from the real world into the fiction world whether it is in movies, in animations or on the page.

Animation fashion is a great way to first introduce kids into the world of fashion a instead of them using their mother's high heels and lipsticks.

Two famous groups of girls have been leading the fashion stakes for years with children and adults alike following in their footsteps and dressing themselves on every word or advice uttered by these two groups.

They are of course the Bratz Dolls a the girls with the passion for fashion who have been leading the way in DVDS, toys, clothes, CDs and much more.

Then on the other hand we have the Sex and the City girls who have been lighting up the television and big screen for the last decade.

These eight ladies are some of the most powerful and influential when it comes to the world of fashion and the stakes are high to look as good as they do.

Bratz fans from all over the world have been styling the funky and outrageous looks tried out by Jade, Sasha, Cloe and Yasmine.

They were once criticised for their mature looks and some parents fought to get the dolls taken off the shelves but they now sit as a household name and most young girls at some point would have looked to them for style advice.

At the other end of the scale sits the ever controversial a[approximately]Sex' gang who just recently wowed the big screen with the second instalment of the Sex and the City Movie.

Miranda, Samantha, Carrie and Charlotte only wear the best of the best with some items valued at more than $5000.

The girls can pull off any outfit on any continent and they proved this during their long running TV series and successful film careers.

So, what is it that makes someone a fashion icon?
